2018 Website Update Pilot Project
The 2018 Website Update Pilot Project was a small website update project to fix bugs and add new features. The work was performed by Shotgun Flat. It was undertaken as a preamble to a larger update project. Gila Naderi initiated the conversation with Mike McKenna in July 2017. As of June 28, 2018, the project is not yet complete. McKenna initially managed the project, but, in May 2018, his mother was injured in an auto accident and he handed over responsibility for the project to Robert Murphy.
In January 2019, McKenna stated that the code was too complex to continue development. He proposed rebuilding the website from scratch. Elizabeth Johnson, Gila Naderi, Elaine Papoulias, and Peter Stevens decided that the current site had prematurely reached the end of its life cycle. Rodeo two was begun.
