The seamless switcher upgrade project was a project to add a switching PC to the AV system in Lower Level Conference Room. It was intended to add expected functionality that was missing in the 2017 A/V upgrade project.

Early proposals included a Roland production switcher to fix the problem of high latency when switching video sources. However, to reduce cost and increase flexibility, CES chose to build a switching PC with a four-channel video capture card. The PC is rack-mounted.
