Old standing banner with visible crease.

The step-and-repeat banner upgrade project was a project in the Summer of 2018 to replace the standing banner in the Lower Level Conference Room with a motorized, ceiling-mounted banner, which is controllable by a switch located at the tech station. It was intended to correct the issue of the fabric crease caused by the current banner's proximity to the air registers. It was modeled on the JFK Jr Forum's motorized banner.

The banner can be lowered all the way to the floor. However, when the air circulation is on, the banner gets sucked into the return vent, causing a loud noise.
