It is used to display photo slideshows and a daily calendar of public events. The Digital Signage is a display in the Cabot Way vestibule. It consists of two TVs showing output from two Mac Minis. It is used to display photo slideshows and a daily calendar of public events. The calendar is a Powerpoint presentation in full screen mode, produced every day by Anna Popiel and uploaded by Peter Stevens. The Mac Minis are on the wired network and have static IP addresses. The machines have no I/O, so they must be accessed by remote desktop, or by plugging in a keyboard and mouse.
Future plans
